Coronavirus: The Italy Situation is Exaggerated Massively

Posted by: James1Henry

Milan, Italy

When you talk to Coronavirus Doom Cultists and point out that this actually isn’t a big deal and shutting down the entire society is an insane response, they inevitably mention Italy having a high mortality rate.

But the details of this are not really stated.

Firstly, calling it the “Italian outbreak” is kind of wrong, because most of Italy is fine. It would make more sense to call it the “Milan outbreak” or the “Lombardy outbreak,” as virtually all of the cases – and all of the problems with logistics and so on – are in Milan and surrounding areas.

nypost.com/2020/03/18/over-99-of...
These people keep trying to deride “it’s just a flu, bro,” but literally, any flu could have done this to Lombardy.

If a flu outbreak had killed a few thousand people in one province in Italy at any other time in history, you wouldn’t know about it, and most people in Italy wouldn’t know about it. Hell, most people in Milan itself wouldn’t know about it. Every single year, the flu has “hot spots” where larger numbers of people die than elsewhere. And these numbers are not outside of that trend which has existed forever.

I will say it one more time: there are between 300,000 and 500,000 global deaths from the flu every single year. Now think about that spread across the cold areas of the world (North America, Europe and East Asia), where relatively few of the world’s 7,000,000,000 people live.

Every year there are places where the flu death toll is especially high and the hospitals struggle to cope, as is happening in Italy.

In 2018, 80,000 Americans died of the flu. www.nytimes.com/2018/10/01/healt...

In New York City, there are currently just over 5,000 cases of hospitalization with Coronavirus, while in 2018, there were over 23,000 people hospitalized with the flu. I’m sure the hospitals were really struggling then. But you didn’t hear about it. www.lohud.com/story/news/health/...

In Lombardy, the same problem exists as exists everywhere else outside of Asia, where no one knows how many people have it because there is not widespread testing, making the morality rate difficult to ascertain.

It is almost certain that huge numbers of people have this virus across the world and don’t know, because they just have a little cough and the sniffles or no symptoms at all.

“Italy Tho” is Not a Gotcha

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Italy...

The whole country has been on lockdown since 9th March (3 weeks) but you are still using BBC graphs from before this announcement.

Get a FUCKING LIFE Jimmy Boy. Practice your hate speech and fake news somewhere else.

@😷just_box😷 Somebody presents as extremely triggered into uncontrollable VIRTUE-SIGNALLING.

Those without the coherence and logic in thought cannot participate in an exchange of ideas without resorting to personal attacks, vulgarity and elevating themselves by diminishing others....sound familiar? Triggered yet again?

@Tamperer71 Is this supposed to be an appropriate reply to my comment? Is this your idea and understanding of "coherence and logic in thought" in relation to the subject matter at hand? Bravo smiley Well done smiley You just disproved your own point smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley

@😷just_box😷 Notice that I never said that was a current map of locked down areas. The point of using that map was to illustrate the localized nature of the outbreak and deaths within Italy.

Normal people can read a post and understand things like context, or that an image may be used for a purpose besides what the image was created for.

I don’t think you are smart enough to be reading my posts, and as a result you post a lot of angry or “triggered” comments. Maybe you should block me.

@James1Henry Jimmy,

Normal people realise what you are all about and what a sicko you are.

Normal people are not aware that you regularly use disturbing and out of date graphics to propagate your particular type of illness.

And I do smell frog spawn in your posts.

NO BLOCKING FROM THE BOX.

@😷just_box😷 lol no blocking from the box, just moaning and pleas for people you disagree with to be banned and censored

@James1Henry a GOOGLEPLEX %age in agreement with you. Most people will always suffer both Stockholm Syndrome AND JUST NOT KNOWING WHAT THEY DO NOT KNOW. That's just an abysmally ignorant and myopic state to exist in, in my humble opinion. Alas The Sheeple continue to believe MSM reciting the very same DELUDED mantra "MY GOVERNMENT WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO ME".

To wit, most younger Chinese who did not experience The Cultural revolution ACTUALLY TOUT AND EXTOLL THE CHINESE SOCIAL CREDIT SYSTEM--coming soon to a Fascistic Dictatorship near you.

This is an insult to the Italian nation and government, the Italian dead and their families.

The only exaggerations that we have been witness to is the scurrilous material that Johnny insists on uploading.

It is sick what this member is allowed to do.

SICK.

I upvoted not because I agree to this theory, but because I see a good post with interesting facts.

I think you still underestimate possible death numbers if Italy wouldn't lock those areas down. What if the virus would spread all over the country? We'd see much worse numbers.

@Dr.Evil It is almost certain that huge numbers of people already have this virus across Italy and the world and don’t know, because they just have a little cough and the sniffles or no symptoms at all, and they haven't been tested.

Large numbers of people fled to southern Italy from the initial Lombardy lock down.

The higher death rates are confined to Northern Italy because of local conditions, not because of lock downs, which accomplish nothing but destruction without being accompanied by thorough mass testing.

0

@James1Henry Death rate may be 1% but it's still very high.

Check this nypost.com/2020/03/23/coronaviru...

Tell me that this is just like flu.

@Dr.Evil Of course it's not just the flu. Numbers are a political game. When first called a pandemic the estimates were 1.5 billion casualties and when the science was kind of figured out the number dropped. I was treated for the exact same symptoms of this bug and the *first dx was complications of influenza.(I always have a flu vaccine every year and have never been that ill my entire life. A z-pack (erythromycin) plenty of electrolytes and NyQuil were recommended by my dr. Two days later I could not breathe and my throat had just about swollen shut. The second dx was complications of influenza and bronchitis and strep throat. More antibiotics(keflex) and a vicotussin syrup. The fourth day I was back and this time to the er. This dx was severe bronchitis and a possible lung infection. The hospital began an immediate iv of cipro and Levaquin along with respiratory therapy *a full face rebreather and some type of gas that was to break the congestion up. ...

@cholak1 Good to hear you are recovering and on the mend.

Take care.

@Dr.Evil The death rate is unknown, but those Stanford professors said it is probably 0.06%, or comparable to flu.

Yes, that NY post article looks exactly like countless others I've seen about flu outbreaks.

@shabbapaul Very informative - especially the part about masks - and why Asians are never seen without them while US and European citizens are never seen WITH them! It would be ver beneficial for all in the latter areas to be wearing masks but citizens are deliberately discouraged from doing this so medical personnel can be prioritized!

@Dr.Evil Yea that’s not accurate because they’re not doing enough testing

0

@James1Henry That wouldn't change the amount of deaths. Testing is testing. People are dying like flies.

Do you know how long the Coronavirus can survive on/in ice? (Did a google on it the other day, but got a global warming " propaganda " link, so i gave up searching)

@PureVodka🍺 Yea I'm sure there are plenty of articles out there about how cow farts are causing global warming which is causing disease outbreaks to worsen.

According to the CDC’s website, it’s not known now if weather and temperature impact the spread of coronavirus.

I've heard that warm weather slows the spread, but I think there are many different strains with different reactions to temperature and weather.

0

@James1Henry At last count I cite at least 8 separate Corona Virus Strains. Now I'm no Epidemiologist BUT THIS STINKS OF BIOTERRORISM. Naturally occurring viruses DO NOT MUTATE THAT RAPIDLY.

0

@Tamperer71 i. e.,...8 strains and 40 different mutations. The virus is so adept at human to human contagion that there is no evolutionary imperative for it to naturally evolve faster--implicitly it has been bioengineered to do so. Wake up humanity...The end is nigh from complacency. : worldtruth.tv/dear-clueless-amer...

@James1Henry The 1st link google came up with for me, was something to do with " viruses " being frozen deep in ice and with global warming (you get the picture) bla,bla i did not even bother opening the link.

But what i would like to know, is if the Coronavirus can be frozen (saved/stored), you could get any mad nurse/doctor doing that to harm people in the future (as we all know, there is a lot of people on the planet who want to cause harm to others)

Thanks for the reply. smiley

@PureVodka🍺 I still believe the virus was released as a bioweapon

0

@James1Henry Yes i believe it was made/modified in a lab, but if it was released on purpose, i reckon it was done by someone from public life (pissed off lab worker etc).
